The Canadian International School of Paris, the first Canadian school in France, is a little piece of Canada in the heart of Paris. We remain proud of what that represents: our commitment to providing an English- and French-language bilingual education to Canadian, French, and international families.
Our dual-language approach — one curriculum taught in two languages — goes beyond academic achievement. Students learn with Canadian teachers, locally recruited French teachers, and international teachers. Through creative, artistic, and athletic programs, we encourage students to explore their full potential, build confidence, and thrive in an international environment.
As a certified British Columbia international school, we follow the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education of British Columbia, Canada, recognized for its academic excellence and student-centred approach. Our school undergoes an annual government inspection, and our teachers meet the province’s professional certification standards.
We offer more than an education. We provide a foundation for global citizenship and lifelong learning, while creating a sense of belonging that stays with our students long after they leave our classrooms.
A Pathway for Every Learner - Preschool to High School
We welcome students from preschool through high school in small classes, with personalized attention at every stage of their development.
Daily instruction in English and French builds strong language skills and intercultural understanding. Our balanced approach includes the arts, sports, and creative projects, helping students develop independence, creativity, and confidence.

Our mission is to provide students in Paris with a bilingual education in French and English within a bicultural Canadian and French environment. Our approach combines academic excellence, personalized support, and an openness to the world.

Our Pedagogical Framework
Our programs follow an interdisciplinary, student-centred approach that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Design, and Mathematics (STEAM). Learning is active and creative, with an emphasis on independence, curiosity, and critical thinking.
Students learn in French and English every day, developing their ability to learn, communicate, and think in both languages. This bilingual approach also encourages students to consider different perspectives and develop a broader understanding of the world around them.
