Language & Learning Programs
English & French Language Learning
For non-native speakers of English or French, our school offers language support to all students in grades Kindergarten through 9 through intensive ELL (English Language Learning) and FLL (French Language Learning) programs.
Students applying for grades 10, 11 and 12 must demonstrate a functional level of academic English or French to complete the provincial graduation assessments in literacy and numeracy of the British Columbia Ministry of Education’s provincially prescribed curriculum.
LEARNING SUPPORT SERVICES
Learning Support Services are educational requirements for students with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, or emotional and behavioural difficulties. Special education needs are identified through formal observations, evaluations, and assessments, which inform the school’s instructional planning decisions, enabling all students to have equitable access to their educational programs. The school’s instructional planning for individual students will be developed as either an adapted or modified academic program.
The school is unable to accommodate students with moderate or severe disabilities, or those with significant conduct, communication, or emotional difficulties.
The School reserves the right to adjust program fees during the school year based on a student’s development and/or needs.
